A working-class family travel together to a crematorium. Set in real time and confined to the interior of a car, Funeral Car observes the rhythms of a short, shared journey. Conversation drifts between the practical and the mundane as traffic slows them down and the radio remains off. Through small gestures and everyday exchanges, the film captures a moment of transition: a family moving quietly and inevitably from one place to another.
